If you want to keep a memento of your visit to London but looking for something more original than a t-shirt, the Pottery Cafe is the ideal place to go and create your perfect memory of London to take home!!!

Despite serving the obvious tea, coffee and lunch it does not feel like a cafe as much as a decorating studio. What makes this attraction different is that while you are drinking your coffee, you can be painting your very own mug at the same time!!!!

If you want to take the kids somewhere but want a break from the bustle of the cities toy stores and theme parks -relax here with a cup of coffee and watch your child have the time of their life as you experience their creative juices flow.

The Pottery Cafe is not just for kids! Its great fun for adults too! You can sit down, maybe with a glass of wine, and start painting your desired image on a wide choice of pottery with your friends. You can even arrange special events here from a child’s birthday party to an unforgettable hen night!!!!

Every Wednesday they offer parents the chance to create a piece of memorabilia by printing your child’s footprints on your selected crockery - a piece you will always treasure!

The pottery provided is exclusively from Emma Bridgewater therefore excellent quality. You are offered a wide variety of different pottery to design on, anything from plates, mugs, tiles, egg cups or even an entire tea-set!

Besides offering this unique opportunity for yourselves and your children, they also have a gift shop which sells the most adorable toys.

REVIEWS

I really loved the shop. They sold all kinds of wooden made toys and soft toys. It was nice because they were traditional and excellent quality. Most kids toys are made out of plastic these days - these will last for years!

It was great! I haven’t been in a cafe like that before. I painted a mug and plate with football images on them for my Dads birthday. I know that with the World Cup on he will only be eating and drinking in front of the TV so I know they will be put to good use. You can make some great gifts here, it is so personal too.

The Pottery Cafe is also branched at Richmond and on the Isle of Wright. Every branch holds a terrific atmosphere and the friendliest staff you’ll meet. Definitely worth visiting!
It is a very popular place to bring the kids! Even Johnny Depp brought his son here whilst visiting London and thought it was great!
